🌈 Lieve PrideBees, even iets heel eerlijk van mij. 🐝💛 We bestaan nu iets meer dan een maand — een piepjonge community, nog maar net uit het ei gekropen. En zoals bij alles wat nieuw is, komt er een hoop kijken waar je van tevoren geen idee van hebt. Ik wil jullie iets vertellen wat misschien niet “glamorous” klinkt, maar wél de waarheid is. Het is ongelooflijk moeilijk om nieuwe leden te bereiken en in je eentje de community op gang te krijgen. Social media reageert nauwelijks, veel mensen zijn wantrouwend (“wéér een nieuw platform…?”) en het kost gigantisch veel tijd en energie om Pridehives zichtbaar te maken tussen alle grote namen. Maar ik doe het. Elke dag. Met liefde voor de community — en voor jullie. Wat ook zwaar is: het activeren van de leden die er al zijn. Ik ben maar één persoon. Ik post, schrijf, denk, bouw, ontwerp, reageer, deel, probeer… maar ik kan het niet allemaal alleen laten bruisen. Een community is namelijk geen solo-tour. Het is een koor. Een bijenkorf. Het leeft alleen als iedereen meedoet. En eerlijk? Ik heb me kapot gewerkt om dit te bouwen. Met tranen, met frustratie, met doorzettingsvermogen. Ik wil niet dat al dat werk voor niets is geweest. PrideHives leeft alleen als JULLIE actief zijn. Als jullie posten, reageren, delen, liken, elkaar welkom heten. Jullie verhalen, foto’s, gedachten, vragen, humor en creativiteit zijn precies wat deze plek warm, gezellig en menselijk maakt. Beste leden, Voorlopig liggen alle werkzaamheden aan Pridehives stil. In de afgelopen weken heb ik me volledig ingezet om de site te bouwen en geprobeerd om alvast wat leden te krijgen, wat erg moeilijk is. Al het gepuzzel met codes en het doen van alle instellingen heeft mijn hoofd zo overbelast dat ik even geen computer meer kan zien. Ik kan dus ook voorlopig niet achter de pc zitten om dingen aan de site te doen. Het is allemaal héél erg veel werk geweest. De lauwe reacties die ik van sommige aspirant-leden krijg op Pridehives werken om eerlijk te zijn ook niet echt stimulerend. Als men eens wist hoeveel werk het is. Ik heb het in mijn persoonlijke leven ook even heel druk en ik heb geen team dat mij meehelpt. Dan zouden dingen wel wat sneller gaan. Ik beperk me voorlopig tot het plaatsen van enkele posts per dag. Want ik heb gewoon veel te veel hooi op mijn vork genomen. Ik ben ook geen 18 meer 🤣 Dus, het is dat jullie het weten 😉 Ik wil geen gezeur lezen ' Ohhh wat is het hier stilll', dat verwijder ik meteen. Ik heb ook maar 1 paar handen. ☺️

We zijn nog een jonge community, maar dat betekent juist dat jij hier nu echt het verschil kunt maken. Let’s set the record straight: Pridehives is designed to be simple and easy to navigate. The structure is based on the script we’re working with, which means some layouts are fixed, but overall the site is very straightforward. Besides that, there's only so much work you can do with just one set of hands, without a professional team, and since there's nobody responding to my request for help, i have to do it all alone, so things will take much more time to fix. As for the app — developing one is extremely costly, and since the site is still under construction, our focus is on getting the core features right first. An app may come later, but for now the browser version works perfectly. We’re building step by step, and most of the important features are already live. Marketplace, payment systems, and Pro memberships are next on the list.
