I created PrideHives because, for many years, I never felt truly safe or welcome on the mainstream social media platforms. As a transgender woman, I was often met with hostility, trolling, silence, or a lack of understanding. I wanted something different. I wanted a home. A place where we — transgender people from all walks of life — could simply breathe, express ourselves, heal, laugh, connect, and exist without fear. That dream became PrideHives. And this group is the heart of it. 💛 🦋 Why this group matters My deepest hope is that this space grows into the largest, warmest and most supportive transgender community on the platform — a place full of kindness, softness, strength and solidarity. But I can’t do that alone. I’m building this entire platform on my own, step by step, with love and determination.
