From Facebook to PrideHives: Why We Need Our Own Space

For years, queer people around the world have gathered on mainstream social media platforms — Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X. These platforms promised “connection” and “community.” But let’s be honest — too often, they fail to truly protect, represent, or celebrate who we are.

When “inclusion” feels conditional

On many mainstream platforms, LGBTQIA+ users are constantly walking a thin line. A simple kiss in a photo, a discussion about gender identity, or even queer art can be flagged as “adult content.” Meanwhile, homophobia and transphobia often slip through unpunished. For a community built on love, visibility, and self-expression, that’s not just frustrating — it’s exhausting.

Photorealistic image of a diverse group of happy, queer people celebrating in the spring sunshine. A laughing young person in a wheelchair is prominent in the foreground. The central figure is triumphantly waving a rainbow Pride flag in an urban square as colorful confetti floats through the air. The group radiates joy, diversity, and inclusivity during a Pride event or celebration. Ideal representation of happiness, friendship, and the LGBTQIA+ community.

PrideHives: A new home for our voices

That’s where PrideHives.com comes in — a brand-new social platform built specifically for the LGBTQIA+ community. It’s a space made by us, for us. Here, you can create your own groups and pages for your business, organization, or passion project. You can write blogs, share experiences, make friends, or simply be yourself — without the fear of being censored or targeted.

PrideHives isn’t trying to be “another Facebook.” It’s an entirely different kind of hive — one where every color of the rainbow has a place to shine.

Still growing, still glowing

Right now, PrideHives is in its beta phase — small but full of heart. A few test users are already buzzing around, helping us refine the experience before the big launch. Not every feature is fully functional yet, but we’re improving every day. And if you join now, you’ll be part of something truly new — a digital community that grows and evolves with you.

The platform currently has a small number of active members due to its newness. That’s exactly why we’re inviting the very first test users to join and help us fill The Hive with creativity, stories, and meaningful connections. So don’t worry if you don’t see much activity yet — you’re here at the beginning of something beautiful. You’re helping to build it.

A safe and empowering space

What makes PrideHives special is that it’s not just a social network — it’s a protected space. Trolls, haters, and spam are actively filtered out, and moderation tools are built with care. Whether you’re a private user, a queer creator, or a business that supports diversity, you’ll find a welcoming environment to express your voice and connect authentically.

Monetize your creativity (without selling out)

In the near future, PrideHives will allow members to monetize exclusive content — no nudity, no adult material, just creativity. You’ll be able to share special articles, videos, or artwork for a small fee, while PrideHives takes only 10% to support the platform’s growth. It’s our way of keeping the hive sustainable — fair for creators, safe for users, and vibrant for everyone.

Why we need our own hive

The truth is simple: we deserve a platform that reflects us — not one that tolerates us. PrideHives exists because we were tired of waiting for the world to give us space. So we built it ourselves.

It’s time to move beyond borrowed spaces and build our own digital home. Because our stories, our art, our pride — deserve more than just a hashtag.

Where every identity belongs — and every voice matters.
